In 2001, Togo Shippers Council/Conseil National de Chargeurs Togolais (CNCT) issued Ministrial decree requiring all sea cargo destined for Togo must have a Cargo Tracking Note (CTN) or Bordereau de Suivi Cargaison/Cargo Tracking Note (BSC). Some shipping lines may not load cargo without the CTN number. Cargo arriving without a Cargo Tracking Note may be subject of fines and delays.
Cargo Tracking Notes will not be issued at discharge port or when entering the borders.
- Submit the required documents by email or online submission.
- You will be sent a draft and an invoice, typically within the same day.
- Once your payment has been received and you approve the draft, validation will be sent.
- The CTN must be validated before the vessel arrives at the destination. No regularization at destination port.
- Since our office validates the CTN, the process can typically be done within 24 hours after receipt of payment.

2.4.2016 — NOTICE TO AUTO SHIPPERS TO TOGO EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 4, 2016 — Togolese Authority has ordered that every vehicle destined for Togo must have a separate and individual ECTN certificate. As example, a container containing three vehicles must have three separate ECTNs. Each vehicle will be billed separately under the Togolese tariff. If containers contain cargo in addition to the vehicles, an additional ECTN is also required for the container.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: TOGO CARGO TRACKING NOTE (ECTN) CHANGES EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 4, 2016 — The Togolese Government has announced that effective today February 4, 2016 a temporary tariff adjustment for all ECTN. The new rates are applicable only from February 4, 2016 through February 29, 2016.
Tariffs are valid until February 29th 2016 only – beginning March 1st a revised tariff structure will be put in place. Please contact our office, email@example.com for updated pricing that will be valid as of today, February 4th until February 29th.

11.1.2015 — Effective December 1, 2015 Togo government will cease allowing Togolese Importers to apply in Togo for the ECTN. All sea cargoes arriving in Togo after that date will be required to secure the ECTN in the country of loading. Cargo not having the official Antaser ECTN obtained at the loading country will cause shipping lines and receivers to be fined and receivers unable to clear their cargo until a valid ECTN obtained at the loading is presented. ECTN numbers should be listed on the Bill of Lading and the cargo manifest.

8.1.2015 — Effective Bill of Lading date August 1, 2015 Togo will require all cargo arriving into or from their country to be covered by an ECTN (Electronic Cargo Tracking Note). Under the authority of Interministerial Order No. 001/MEF/MCPSP/MTPT/DC dated April 8, 2015 all shipments to or from Togo (transit cargoes included) are required to be covered by an ECTN issued and validated at the loading port.
Each Bill of Lading must be covered by at least one ECTN and its unique number is required to be inserted in the Bill of Lading and Cargo Manifest under penalty of fines.
Cargoes not covered by a validated ECTN will not be cleared through the local Togo Customs until presentation of the final ECTN and appropriate fines will be charged.
